City of AngelsMusic by Cy Coleman, Lyrics by David Zippel, Book by Larry GelbartFrom Attic Theatre
Director - Charles E. Franklin Performance dates: August 7 through August 17, 2002
The glories of the 1940's Hollywood come to life on a split stage. One half is the black and white world of the film noir; the other half is the less than glamorous real world of the people who make the movies. Characters from both worlds collide and alter egos confront one another to a pulsating jazz score that gets toes tapping and fingers snapping. Winner of six Tony Awards.
